PROF.AKINOLA AKINLABI EMERGES CHAIRMAN OF “FELLOWS COMMITTEE” OF CHEMICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA

The easy going and jolly friend of many, who
is saddled with the fledginq task of planning and managing the University’s major events
as Chairman,Ceremonials Committee, Prof.
Akinola Akinlabi has been elected Chairman,
“Fellows Committee” of Chemical Society of Nigeria(CSN) in “a keenly contested election”

Prior to his election, the Professor of Industrial
Chemistry had served CSN as Deputy Vice President(Southwest),Member Secretary and
Editor-In-Chief of the Society’s Publication.

In the same vein, Prof.Akinlabi has contributed
to the development of FUNAAB as Deputy Dean,College of Physical Sciences(COLPHYS),
Head of Department of Chemistry and he’s presently the Chairman of the University Ceremonials Committe.

Prof.Akinlabi who is a good mixer is reputed and reverred for his selfless service to the society as a renowned Rotarian where he earlier served as President and District
Governor.

Fond of giving back to his Alma Mater, Prof Akinlabi who is an “Akokite” in truth and in spirit is a former Treasurer of UNILAG Alumni Association and Secretary,UNIBEN Alumni Association,Ogun State Chapter.

The Directorate of Public Relations congratula-
tes our Chairman in CERECOM and reliable partner in the onerous task of planning and managing the activities,programmes and events of our upwardly mobile university on his well deserved appointment.
