Friday, July 30, 2021 will remain fresh in the annals of Igboora Community in Ibarapa Central LGA of Oyo State as the community members together with friends and well-wishers joined the traditional ruler of the town, HRM Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, at Igboora Central mosque to do thanksgiving ahead of his coronation as Olu of Igboora, 2 years after his installation.

The event, which started with special prayer by the chief imam of Igboora land, Al Imam Yusha’u Alobalowo at the Igboora Central Mosque, Igboora attracted traditional rulers from the community and beyond, state government representatives, youth and women organizations as well as friends from far and near.

In his sermon during the service, the chief imam of the mosque, urged the traditional ruler to remain focused on his duties as Kabiesi, not minding the multitude of distractions that are coming his way noting that he has been destined to be the king no matter what.

This is because, according to him, God installed him for a purpose. To the people of the community, he urged people to be submissive to the monarch since Allah ordains the institution of the monarch.

“When you are submissive to the monarch, all the good purposes of God towards your community will be made manifest,” he added.
