The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, has reaffirmed his commitment to community development with the successful completion of the box culvert at LA Primary School, Idofin Igboora.

For years, the collapsed culvert posed significant risks to residents, especially during the rainy season when floodwaters made passage nearly impossible. Farmers faced immense hardship transporting their produce to Towobowo Market, a key center for local commerce.

Determined to resolve this long-standing issue, Hon. Adeleke swiftly mobilized resources for the culvert’s reconstruction, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery. With the project now completed, both motorists and pedestrians can move safely and conveniently, restoring normalcy to daily life.

In a statement released by his personal assistant, Azeez Sodiq Adesina, Hon. Adeleke emphasized the broader impact of the project beyond infrastructure.

“This is more than just a culvert; it is about ensuring the safety, dignity, and economic stability of our people. The struggles of Idofin residents have not gone unnoticed, and today, we celebrate a solution that improves access, supports farmers, and strengthens local businesses,” he stated.

The initiative has been met with widespread appreciation from residents and stakeholders in Idofin and neighboring communities, who commend Hon. Adeleke for his proactive leadership and dedication to public welfare.

As Ibarapa Central Local Government continues to experience significant improvements under his administration, the completion of the Idofin box culvert stands as a clear testament to the power of responsive governance.
