IBARAPA ZONE APPEAL TO GOV. MAKINDE ON POOR DISTRIBUTION OF RECENTLY EMPLOYED TEACHERS IN TESCOM ZONAL OFFICE, ERUWA

Concerned residents of Ibarapa region of Oyo State has raised concern about the unfair distribution of successful teachers to the Eruwa TESCOM zonal office.

According to our freelance report, the concern people are highly worried about the unfair distribution which they described as “highly LOPE- SIDED, BIASED AND IRRATIONAL”, despite the poor state of education in the zone.

The Eruwa TESCOM zonal office is made up of 4 Local Government Councils namely Ido, Ibarapa East,Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.

According to the school distribution: Ido LG has 30 while Ibarapa East,Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North have 31 secondary schools.

According to findings, out of the total 632 appointed teachers posted to the zonal office, Ido LG with 30 Schools has 479 newly appointed teachers leaving Ibarapa East, Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North with 31 Schools with a meagre 153 newly appointed teachers.

An insider who claimed Anonymity described the distribution as “highly lopsided, biased and irrational”.

They appeal compassionately to the executive Governor of Oyo State, Eng. Seyi Makinde to look into the irrationality for a uniform and equitable redistribution for the upliftment of the educational status in Ibarapa region.
