YULETIDE: SOLA ADELEKE CELEBRATES 1000 CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS FUNFAIR IN IBARAPA CENTRAL

The executive chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke on Friday, 20th December, 2024 kicked off a three-day Christmas Funfair party for 1000 children in the local government.

The event held at the main bowl of Methodist grammar school, Saganun, Igboora according to a statement made available to Asako news by the personal assistant to the executive chairman, Azeez Sodiq Adesina, brought glamour and smiles to the faces of children and their parents, with an array of exciting activities, free goodies, and gifts.

The funfair featured a vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and games. Children were treated to free drinks, snacks and gifts, while parents received financial support to add to the festive cheer. The highlight of the event was the distribution of gift items to the children, ensuring no child left without a token of love.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Olusola Adeleke expressed his administration’s commitment to creating joyful memories for children and fostering a sense of community during the Christmas season. He noted that the initiative was aimed at ensuring that every child in Ibarapa Central feels the spirit of the holidays, regardless of their background.

“This is a season of giving and love and we want to ensure that every child here feels special and celebrated. Christmas is about togetherness and we are committed to bringing joy to our dear community,” Hon. Adeleke said.

The event also included the provision of free essential drugs, emphasizing the Chairman’s dedication to the health and welfare of the children and their families.
