BREAKING: ADESEUN OGUNDOYIN POLY COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, PROF. BIODUN OJO IS DEAD

The governing council Chairman of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa and the first son of late Jagunmolu of Igboora (Chief Adewole Ojo), Prof. Biodun Ojo is reported dead.

The former Provost of Tai Solarin College of Education now Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode died after a brief illness at the University Teaching Hospital at the late hour of today, Tuesday 23 April 2024.

The late retired University Don attended Ansar -Ud- Deen primary school, Baptist Boys High School (BBHS) Abeokuta, Ansar -Ud- Deen Teachers College, Ota, University of Lagos, University of Ibadan for his Msc and PhD in Educational administration and Program evaluation respectively.

Late Prof Biodun Ojo has been a teacher throughout his life as he has been at Tai Solarin College of Education from being a youth corps member since 1979.

From records, late Prof. Biodun Ojo instituted the famous Ijagun Eminent personalities Forum that brought eminent citizens like Prof. Adeoye Lambo, Late Prince Bola Ajibola, Chief Olu Falae and Chief Tayo Apata.

Prof. Biodun Ojo will forever be remembered for his laudable developmental roles in Ibarapa and Ijebu regions which he took as his second home.

He has been President of various progressive movements and clubs, some of which include Club 578 of Nigeria, Igboora Central Club, Premier Club of Ijebu etc.

He was member and Chairman of several Board of Governors to Schools and Institutions, and until his death, the Chairman Governing council of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.
