OYO LG: SOLA ADELEKE SOLICITS SUPPORT OF IBARAPA CENTRAL VILLAGERS

Ahead of the 2024 local government election in Ibarapa Central Local Government, the candidate of the People’s Democratic party (PDP), Hon. Olusola Adeleke (PDP), has intensified his campaign as he in the last two weeks, visited major villages across the local government area to solicit for their supports towards the forthcoming Local Government election.

In a statement made available to Asako news, the Adeleke campaign train headed by the Director General, Yemi Atilola, which comprise of Party leaders and executives visited and address dwellers at Onìlé, Babagbau, Jagun, Fèdègbó, Tobalogbo, Ibona, Akeroro, Sekere, Obatade, Osumare, Tuture, konko and other Villages in Ibarapa Central Local Government.

Speaking on behalf of the campaign team at Onìlé village, Alhaji Adeyemo pleaded for their support for the aspirations of Sola Adeleke, whom he described as a listening young man who understands rudiments of local development. In his reaction on behalf of the villagers, Mr Jamiu Adegboyega lament the total neglect credited to the last administration.

Above all, they overwhelming pledged support for Sola Adeleke, which according to them, signifies appreciation for what Hon. Ademola Ojo did when he was in government.

A villager from Fèdègbó village, Chief Debo, who spoke on behalf of the villagers vowed to mobilize and vote Sola Adeleke considering the impacts of Ademola Ojo in the village. In the same vein, the villagers lamented the poor condition of their schools and infrastructure most especially, in area of water.

Member of the campaign train, Hon. Monsur Oduola while addressing the people of Imeleke, Sèkèrè, Akeroro and other adjoining villages, admonish them to give their support to Sola Adeleke to enjoy bountiful opportunities through the local government and goodwils of Governor Seyi Makinde. He appreciated them for their support during the last general elections.

Reacting on behalf of Leaders of Imeleke village, Elder Andrew Adetona urged government to build culverts, provide water and construct the road to the village. The villagers here also pledge their support for Sola Adeleke’s election.

On behalf of Leaders of Sekere village, Chief Ezekiel Morakinyo described Sola Adeleke as a respectful, honest and caring personality of impeccable character which placed him ahead of other candidates, he appealed to the villagers to support Sola Adeleke as the next local government Chairman, owing to the fact that Sekere village is the second home of Hon. Dr. Anthony Adepoju (Ibarapakan), incumbent member representing Ibarapa Central and North Federal Constituency.

Lamenting the essential needs of the villagers, a representative of Sekere village Youths decried the lack of water, stated that boreholes drilled by previous administrations are not in good condition. The women’s wing of the village equally requested for security personnel in their maternity center, as this has poised fear in people not to make the use of health centre adequately.

The people of Tobalogbo, Obatade, Osumare, Tuture, konko, Ibona and others were also reported to have trooped out enmass to welcome the campaign team, and pledged their support for Sola Adeleke’s election.

In another development, the campaign team was also reported to have stormed Abeta, Oniya, Iya ikoko, Ekuku, Kara and Akeroro villages.

Chief Okesola (Baale of Akeroro) and his people was also reported to have received the team with enthusiasm. They also demanded for portable and accessable water, as this has poised challenges to the community. The villagers assured the team of their vote.

Speaking on behalf of the Fulani Community, Alhaji Amuda (Seriki of Fulani) assured the campaign team of victory, making refference to the good relationship he had with Hon. Ademola Ojo. He used the medium to request for functioning school, water and re-opening of Kara market.

The Director General of Sola Adeleke Campaign team, Mr. Yemi Atilola assured all the villagers of positive development once the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sola Adeleke come victorious in the forthcoming election.

Part of the campaign train includes, Hon. Gbade Akinlolu (Party Chairman), Alhaji Rasheed Okunlola Alatise, Hon. Oduola Monsuru, Alh Datman, Alh ogunjobi, Hon. Ojelere Dare (DDG), Shittu Nurudeen (DDG), Party Executives, Ward Executives among others.
