Oyo L.G. Election: Ibarapakan rally support for Adeleke , Akorede; hosts PDP Leaders.
Towards an overwhelming victory for People’s Democratic Party candidates in the forthcoming Oyo local election, member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju (Ibarapakan), has on Sunday, 28th January, 2024 drummed support for all PDP candidates in the Ibarapa Central and North Local Government under his Constuency.
Hon. Adepoju who is also a member of the Oyo State PDP coordinating team for Local Government election promised to do his best to ensure victory for the PDP state – wide.
The lawaker made this knowned while addressing party leaders in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal at his Igboora residence on Sunday, 28th January 2024, as credited to a release made available to Asako news by his media aide, Hassan Olaoniye, was centred on making the party formidable ahead of the April election.
In his remarks, Hon. (Dr.) Adepoju thanked the party leaders for their continued support, which, according to him, has made the PDP the party to beat in Ibarapa Land and Oyo State as a whole.
Appraising the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the lawaker landed the Governor’s relentless efforts in making the development of Oyo State a outmost priority. According to him, the good work of Engr. Seyi Makinde in Oyo State and his pro-peoples’ policies will result in the victory of all the candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming election.
“Since 2019, Engr. Seyi Makinde has proven that he is a governor for all; his policies and programmes have distinguished and made him exceptional among the past leaders this state has produced.
“Our performance in the last seven months is also an achievement that we are proud of, and all these will go a long way in working for our candidates across the length and breadth of Ibarapa Land and Oyo State as a whole when they go to the polls in April this year.
Ibarapakan also seized the moment of the meeting to highlight his programmes in the next one year which include, but are not limited to, empowerment, revamping power, educational initiatives aimed at complementing the efforts of Engr. Seyi Makinde in enhancing the standard of education in Oyo State, job opportunities, collaborating with the health sector to assist the people of his constituency, among others.
