Barr. Tijani Champions Unity and Progress in New Year’s Message to Party Faithfuls, Extends Hope to All Nigerians

Ibarapa born legal guru and strong member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ibarapa region of Oyo State, Bar. Opeyemi Tijani (BOT) has sent a goodwill message to Party faithfuls in Ibarapa region, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.

In his 2024 new year message made available to Asako news, Bar. Tijani expressed heartfelt congratulations and commendation to all party members for their hard work and dedication.

According to him:
“As we reflect on the journey we have embarked upon together, it is with immense pride and joy that we celebrate our remarkable victory in the February 2023 elections. Our success in electing 3 senators and 10 House of Representatives members is no mean feat, especially in a state dominated by hostile opposition. This triumph is not just a testament to our collective resilience but also a beacon of hope for the bright future that lies ahead for our party in particular and our beloved Nation in general.”

“In these times, when the world is grappling with numerous challenges, our victory serves as a symbol of the unwavering spirit and determination that characterizes our great nation. It is a reminder that when we unite under a common goal, there is no obstacle too large to overcome.”

He expressed confidence in the leadership of the party at the various levels. He particularly thanked the National Executives of the party under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, OFR, and Distinguished Senator Ajibola Bashiru (SRJ) for steering the party aright and expressed his assurance that they will continue to chauffeur the party from strength to strength in the new year and beyond.

He enjoined Nigerians to repose their confidence in the abilities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.

“Mr. President is the best leader we can have at this moment. He is tried, tested, and trusted. Look at the way he transformed Lagos. He has never been afraid of taking hard decisions when it is right to do so. That is the sort of leadership we need now – one who will always tell us the truth, no matter how bitter it is.”

He enjoined all Nigerians to look towards the future with optimism and confidence.

“The President’s agenda, anchored in our deep-rooted values of integrity, hard work, and service to the nation, is a roadmap to achieving the Nigeria of our dreams. A Nigeria where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive, where our diversity is our strength, and where our collective aspirations become realities.
The recently passed budget is a pivotal step in this journey. It reflects Mr. President’s commitment to sustainable development, economic growth, and social welfare. This budget is not just a financial plan; it is a blueprint for transformation, a promise of a better tomorrow for every Nigerian.”

He condemned the various incidences of ethnic violence and security breaches in the country, expressing his optimism that they will soon be a thing of the past.

While addressing the youth :
