Prof. Ige lament on the poor State of the school infrastructure, most especially the Laboratories.

According to him:

We give glory to God for this previlege, we wrote our last paper on 3rd of July 1993 which made 30 years so we have gathered here to deliberate on how to move the school forward.”

“When we got here, the state of things are not too pleasant. There are no good laboratories and good classrooms. We tried to assess and concluded that we are going to do so many things.”

To hit the ground running and to back our ways with action, we gave seven students scholarship for their SSC examination. First two to the senior Prefect and Senior girl who are also with us and the Principal was also given an award of excellence at least for being in Sharks for holding foot for us each time we call.”

“We appreciate the principal as the head of the institution, we wouldn’t have made this progress if not for her support. We told her that we are given five outstanding students scholarship for their WAEC, we are going to pay for the WAEC. We will consider that as the beginning of our efforts. We also plan to be coming around from time to time.”

“Our gesture is aimed at complimenting the effort of government, we are not condemning government, just to compliment the effort of government.” He concluded.

In his closing remarks, the 1993 Senior Prefect and Chairman Reunion planning committee, Mr. Bolanle Oladokun appreciate members who have ganered their time and resources to make the short program a success.

Mr. Oladokun emphasize on insinuations about unseriousness of some Students, he promised on behalf of the set on proper orientation program for the students in earnest.

According to him:

“Before going to universities, there are some things you have to put forward. And you know one thing is the information is very far. Majority of the students don’t have the information on how to go about it, except those that are fortunate, that have maybe brothers or parents that can guide them alright. But there are some other that are not privileged to have. We are going to take up that responsibility. We will be coming here from time to time to be giving them lecture.”

“At least we agreed to target maybe the entrance level and the transition level, which is JSS1, JSS2 to 3, no, JSS3 to SS1, then SS3.
Those categories of classes, we are going to be giving them orientation on regular basis. We have the resources, human resources and to God be the glory, we are going to target ourselves on Panashia resources as well. Some of us, we have some of us who say clean cast ecologist, that can talk to students in that regard. We have majority of us in industry, majority of us in academics, and I want to believe that human resources will not be a problem.”

“So it is not the beginning and we are starting and we are not going to relent until we give back to the institution that made us, that produced us.” He concluded.
