IBARAPA CENTRAL/ NORTH FEDERAL CONSTUENCY APPEAL COURT RULING: YEMI AKINLABI ADVISED CONSTITUENTS TO SHUN PARTISAN POLITICS AND WORK WITH IBARAPA KAN

The people of Ibarapa Central and North federal constituency of Oyo state have been advised to put partisanship politics apart and work with the member of House of Representatives, Hon Anthony Adebayo Adepoju (Ibarapa kan) now that the litigation following the election has been fully settled.

In a statement made available to Asako news, personally signed by the former Ibarapa Central Local Government boss who was recently installed as the Olukotun of Iberekodo, High Chief Akinyemi Akinlabi, he described the judgement as the will of God which must be taken with good faith as “No Victor, No Vanquish”.

The judgement of the appeal tribunal that upheld the election of Hon.Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju (Ibarapa kan) was delivered on Friday, 27th October, 2023 by the Federal Court of Appeal, dismissing the Appeal filled by the former member of House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central and North constituency, Hon. Dr. Saubana Muraina of the APC against the pronouncement of Hon. Adepoju as the winner by INEC.

High Chief Akinyemi Akinlabi who is also a major leader of APC in Ibarapa axis of Oyo State concluded that the judgement signal the best time for everyone to come together to maximize benefits of federal power.
