OYO APC: Bar. Tijani Hails Ganduje’s Visit.

Ibarapa born legal icon and APC stalwart, Barrister Opeyemi Tijani has lauded the visit of Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to the Oyo State.

The National Chairman who was on an official visit to the State, in the company of the National Secretary, Dr. Ajibola Bashiru described the visit as a welcomed one.

In a statement issued by Bar. Tijani: “It was a tremendous pleasure to welcome Dr. Ganduje to Oyo State, the political headquarters of progressivism. The visit by our chairman demonstrates that the party in the state remains significant and has not been abandoned, contrary to what some may be suggesting.”

The Ibarapa-born legal guru and politician welcomed Dr. Ganduje’s call for party unity. He urged both the party leadership and its members to come together to foster unity and restore the party’s prominence.

In his word of advice to the State party faithfuls, Tijani said “As a party, it’s high time we unite as one. Both the leadership and members need to close ranks and return to the true ideals of progressivism, where unity is key. We can’t be running in different directions and expect to reach our destination as a unified force. If we are to regain our status as the party to beat in Oyo State, we must do so as an indivisible, focused, and united entity.”
