FISU PRESIDENT CONGRATULATE IBARAPA KAN, URGED TO PRIORITISE CONSTITUENT’S INTEREST

The President, Federation of Igboora Students’ Union, Com. Olaniyi Oludare John (John West) has congratulate the new law maker representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency at the lower chamber, Hon. Dr. Bayo Adepoju. In an open letter of congratulation made available to Asako news, the Student leader urged the law maker to prioritise the interest of the constituency above personal and party’s interest.

Com. John West equally urged the new law maker to move motions, and sponsor bills that will affect students welfare before and after graduation.

According to the Students leader:
“I am sending this congratulatory message to you, first as a constituent member and second as the Federation of Igboora Students’ Union President”.

“You have won the election with the majority of the constituent’s votes; everyone who voted you and those who did not, have set their hope high, believing that you will deliver massively for the period of 4years, starting from today”.

“As a member of your constituency, I appeal to you, to let the interest of the constituency be your priority and place it above personal and party’s interest”.

“I encourage you to do all you can do as a lawmaker to attract development to the constituency. Move motions, sponsor bills, and lobby for the betterment of the consistency, as this will sell you out to national politics”.

“I also appeal, you to move around the constituency to explore abandoned projects; draw your map and channel energy into the completion of the projects for the benefit of the constituency.”

“As a student Union leader, I appeal, you move motions and sponsor bills that will affect students positively during and after education program.”

“I want you to also take note that most of our secondary and primary public schools in this constituency needs government intervention, ranging from dilapidated school buildings to empty libraries and empty scientific laboratories. Visit these schools so you can be of assistance.”

In conclusion, I urge you maintain an open-door policy to drive the progress and development of the constituency.” Com. John concluded.
