IBARAPA OBAS CONGRATULATE GOV. MAKINDE AND DEPUTY ON RE-ELECTION, PLEDGES FOR HIS FOCUS ON IBARAPA

Forum of traditional rulers in Ibarapa region under the auspice of Ibarapa Traditional Council, has congratulate the Aare Atayese of Ibarapa land and the Executive Governor of Oyo State, H.E. Eng. Dr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde and his Deputy, Bar. Bayo Lawal on their overwhelming victory at the just concluded March 18 gubernatorial election.

In a joint release made available to Asako news from the palace of His Majesty, Oba Jimoh Titiloye, the Olu of Igboora, the Obas described the victory as a vindicative ascertion of his installation as the Aare Atayese of Ibarapa land and a pay back for his remarkable achievements in his first term.

The traditional rulers appreciated the governor on the appointment of Ibarapa sons in his cabinet, ranging from the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, Deputy Chief of staff to the Oyo State Governor, Hon. Ademola Ojo, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede, Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi and urge him to do more as his second term bid begins in line with Oliver Twist.

The statement also reminded the Governor fastrack his pledge on paining infrastrural facilities to the region, ranging from the Eruwa – Eleyele Road, Eruwa – Igboora road, Igboora – Iganna Road, Eruwa farm settlement, final restoration of electricity supply, Igboora Stadium completion, Idere Hills and Igboora Twins Tourism agenda, Upgrade of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology to the first State University of Agriculture, proper funding of the Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate and the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.
