IBARAPA NORTH L.GOVT BOSS DISTRIBUTE TEXTBOOKS, EXERCISE BOOK AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS TO SCHOOLS

On Thursday, 26th January, 2023, the Executive Chairman Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lateef Akorede Lawal in his quest for qualitative education in the area, distributed Textbooks, Excerise books, First Aid box and Other instructional Materials to the Public and Private basic Schools in the area.

The distribution took place at the Local Government Secretariat with attendance of school pupils, teachers, education authorities, traditional rulers, religious leaders and personalities within and outside the local government.

In his short address at the program, the Local Government Boss said:

“I am highly fulfilled today because we are carrying out our responsibility as government to our people. As you are all aware that free, and quality education is one of the cardinal programme of Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, the executive governor of Oyo State.”

“Today, 26th January 2023. I also made my contribution towards the actualization of the quantitive and qualitative education initiatives of the Oyo state governor by distributing free exercise books textbooks, First Aid box and other instructional materials to pupils in both the private and public schools within the Local Government to raise the standard of Education by compliment the free and qualitative education policy of the present administration at the state level”.

Hon. Akorede urged pupils and schools who benefitted from the laudable programme to reciprocate government’s kind gesture by making judicious use of the educational materials.
