TOTAL BLACKOUT: IBARAPA STUDENTS ISSUE 7 DAYS ULTIMATUM TO MAKINDE

Ibarapa Students under the mouthpiece of the Federation of Ibarapa Students (FIBSA) has issued a 7days ultimatum to Oyo State Governor, H.E. Eng. Seyi Makinde to find solution to the age long power failure in the zone. This was reported in a e-signed statement dated 8th January, 2023 issued by the National representative of the Union led by Gabriel Timileyin Mike made available to Asako News.

Immediate electricity power restoration back to the zone after a long total blackout top the six request statement written through the Special Adviser to the governor on Students affairs, Hon. Victor Olojede. Other requests include Student Bus, Sense of belonging/ recognition of the body, Scholarship and other germaine matters relating to Ibarapa Students.

According to the statement:”If in a week’s time you didn’t make fulfil of your promises, I and my people will make our decision, and wouldn’t want you to see our dear association (fibsa national) as betrayal, with our discretion, 7days is okay for you to fulfil every of our request, we consider them as our rights, we wouldn’t want to go against state government, momentarily, our zone, our students are the oppressed, however if our request ain’t granted, we might be push to wall to go our ways, and coming election we might need to remind you of our letter, if need be. Thanks, with the hope of recieving the best from the state government”.
