OYSCATECH CONFERS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE  ON FORMER CHAIRMAN, HON. GBEMILEKE OLAWOORE

Oyo State college of agriculture and technology, Igboora (OYSCATECH) under the leadership of Prof. Akinola Kehinde Akinlabi, Rector of the college, has conferred Award of Excellence on Former Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central local government Igboora, Oyo state, Hon. Gbemileke Olawoore

The Award of Excellence was conferred on Hon. Gbemileke Olawoore in recognition of his unflinching support and exceptional commitment towards the progress and upliftment of the association, the college community and Ibarapa land in General.

The award ceremony and programmes took place at Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora by Association of Ibarapa Staff Indigene which themed; The Official Commissioning and Handing over of Ibarapa Staff Building Complex to the College, Award of Recognition and Send-forth Programmes of Former College Bursar, Dr Sarafa Agbogun, Former Deputy Rector, Dr Ariyo Okunlola.

All Obas in Ibarapa Land, Oyo State Commissioner of Education, Prof. Salihu Abdulwaheed Adebayo, Director Ogun/Osun River Basin, Engr Azeez Adeoye, Oyo South Senator, Sen. Sharafadeen abiodun Alli and some dignitaries within and outside ibarapa, Sons, Daughters and friends of Ibarapa were in attendance.

Hon. Gbemileke Olawoore who hails from Idere, Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State. He is a grassroot politician who has served several political offices which started with Honourable Councilor, Party Chairman, Local Government Secretary, Executive Chairman, Senior Special Adviser and also his commitment extended to National and International Assignments including National Intelligence, INEC, Interpolitical Relation, Finance, Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), Local Government matters and etc.

He was recognized by famous and prestigious Oyscatech for his contribution to the development and the Award of Excellence was dedicated to his leader, 1st two terms Governor in Oyo State, Late Gov. Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi “of blessed memory”, the good people of Ibarapa central, Ibarapa land and most especially Idere community.
