The executive chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Igboora Oyo State, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, has extended his Congratulaory message on behalf of traditional rulers and people of the local government to the Ibarapa born Professor of Public Health Entomology and Pathology, Prof. Monsuru Adeleke who successfully delivered his inaugural lecture at the 20th Osun State University, Oshogbo on Tuesday 21st August, 2024.

According to the Local Government helsman, the lecture titled : “Unending War of Man against Mosquitoes and Blackflies: A tale of two sacrificial lambs searching for survival”, will go a long way solving public health challenges globally, especially in Nigeria where Malaria ravage has been a critical deadly disease.

This was contained in a congratulatory message signed and made available by his Personal Assistant Sodiq Adesina, to Asako news, the chairman stated:

“Our Dear Prof. Monsuru Adebayo Adeleke, I Congratulate you on behalf of Traditional rulers and entire people of Ibarapa Central Local Government, for making us proud globally as you successfully delivered your inaugural lecture titled: Unending War of Man against Mosquitoes and Blackflies: A tale of two sacrificial lambs searching for survival” on Tuesday 21st August, 2014 at the 20th Inaugural lecture of Osun State University, Oshogbo.

“Going through the highly educative and motivational lecture, it is a potent solution which will go a long way solving public health challenges globally, especially in Nigeria where Malaria ravage has been a critical deadly disease.

“Your hard work, dedication and sacrifices in the development of Education, Especially in Ibarapa land is highly appreciated and have truly paid off in remarkable ways.

“It is been inspiring to watch your journey and see how your commitment to career development of our youths is emense; talk of your incredible human capital development? We are grateful to God and you are a blessing to us.

“I have no doubt that with personalities like you, the future of Ibarapa is bright, and this achievement is just the beginning of many more successes. Congratulations Prof.”, Adeleke concluded.
