“WE WILL COMMENCE REPAIR OF TRANSMISSION GADGETS THAT LINK IBARAPA NORTH”….AKOREDE ASSURES AS ASAKO NEWS PAID CONGRATULATORY VISIT.

The executive chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lateef Adebare Akorede has assured residence of Ibarapa North his readiness to oversee the repairs of damaged electricity cables and poles which has bared the communities the previlege of electricity supply for a long period of time.

Hon. Akorede gave the assurance when the management of Asako Multimedia company paid him a Congratulaory visit at the local government Secretariat, Ayete on Thursday 13th June, 2024.

The Managing Director of the Asako Multimedia, Alhaji (Prince) Akintayo Akinyemi, who personally lead the team congratulate the second termed Local Government Chairman whom he described as “a good youth representative” who have proved beyond reasonable doubt that youth involvement in political leadership of Ibarapa is the only yardstick for positive change.

According to Akinyemi:

“We at Asako Multimedia have come to congratulate you on your second term emergence, to appreciate your association with us and to thank you for not disappointing those of us who are advocates of youth participation in leadership.

“Your track records gave you the previlege of second term, please do more than the previous tenure. Commence impactful projects, most especially the total black out caused by the faulty poles along Idere -Ayete. Make the township roads motorable and focus more on our education system. Rescuscitate football competition in our primary schools to compliment the education materials we have seen you distributing.

“Let there be strong bond between you and the legislative arm as we equally advise the legislative arm to focus more on issues of development.

“You have been a good ambassador of indigenous media, but don’t be distracted by “foreign admires” who gives preference for foriegn links. I wonder why our political actors waste our resources to uplifting foreign medias at our own instance. Ayete info is due for rescuscitation, kindly do whatever it takes to get it back on track.

“We salute the composition of your executives during your first term, we urge you to be conscious of quality whenever you’re composing your team this time around, we are now in a digital age, look for vibrant youths who are enlighten and educated. We wish you well and God bless you”, Akinyemi concluded.

In his reaction, Hon. Akorede appreciated Asako news for the support accorded his first tenure of office, he solicited for more support from the news link on timely dissemination of information about developmental activities in his administration.

Akorede gave the assurance that preparation is on top gear for a permanent restoration of electricity back to Ibarapa North as he has liased with officials of Electricity Company of Nigeria (ECN).

According to Akorede:

“I met with the officials of TCN yesterday, and we have agreed to terms on commencement of the repairs of the damaged electricity cables and poles. Very soon, it will be completed and we can start having power supply in Ibarapa North.

“Hopefully, our roads will be given major concern with the brilliant support of His Excellency, Eng. Seyi Makinde who has been supporting our administration.

“On issue of education, we are not relenting on efforts of complimenting efforts of the State government in education and health. You know I am a good footballer and have been sponsoring football competition even before I became the local government Chairman; we shall begin plans on how we can organise primary school football competition”, Akorede concluded.

In his own reaction, the leader of Ibarapa North Local Government Legislative arm, Hon. Fatai Olojede appreciated the gesture of Asako news towards the executive chairman and people of Ibarapa North through prompt media coverage which has contributed a lot to image making of the council. He submitted as he assured youths of working hand in hand in actualisation of 75% participation.

Presentation of the third edition of Asako Magazine was after the short brief presented to Hon. Akorede by members of the news crew which include Alhaji (Prince) Akintayo Akinyemi, Rafiu Muhammed and Aare Olayinka Afefeoro.
