An Ibarapa born writer, columnist and editor, Prince Tayo Akinyemi has hailed the humanitarian gesture of the Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland and Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, who provided free 18-seater buses for SUBEB applicants from Ibarapa geopolitical zone who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the University of Ibadan DCL, CBT Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan on Monday 22nd July, 2024.

According to Akinyemi, the free bus initiative really assisted these applicants morally and psychologically as these reflected in the enthusiasm on the lucky candidates mood on their arrival.

“We appreciate Chief Jubril Sanusi for this very timely and effective gesture towards SUBEB candidates from Ibarapa zone.

“I have known Chief Sanusi’s giant strides towards human capital development across Ibadan land for decades, so extension to Ibarapa and other zones in Oyo State is not by accident.

“Chief Sanusi’s gesture for SUBEB candidates across the state has gingered Politicians and phillantropists in other zones apart from Ibarapa following suit. I have read about similar sponsorship in Ibadan, Oyo and Okeogun, hopefully I think our house of representative and assembly members from Ibarapa will look into this before the end of the exercise.

“Chief Sanusi has extended the gesture for Wednesday 24th and Friday 26th; Ibarapas are grateful”, Akinyemi concluded
