SOLA ADELEKE PARTNERS DCGN ON DRUG ABUSE ERADICATION IN IBARAPA CENTRAL.

The executive chairman Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Sola Adeleke has reiterated his administration’s commitment towards combatting and eradication of drug abuse menace, which is globally rampant among youths in Ibarapa Central Local Government.

The Ibarapa Central Local Government Boss emphasized this when he hosted the Zonal Commander DCGN, Joyce Oluwatoyin Fagbuyi, and the Oyo State Commander, CM Joe Yinka Fadile in his office on Wednesday, 14th August, 2024.

In a statement made available to Asako news by the Personal Assistant to the council helsman, Sadiq Adesina, the meeting focused on fostering collaboration to effectively address the challenges of drug abuse within the communities of the Council area.

In his remarks, Hon. Olusola Adeleke expressed his gratitude for the visit and the continuous support provided by the commandants and their teams. He emphasized the importance of their partnership, particularly during crucial moments in the fight against drug abuse.

According to Adeleke:

“We are deeply appreciative of your support and dedication to this cause. Your presence here today signifies our shared commitment to eradicating drug abuse in our community. Together, we can make Ibarapa Central a safer and healthier place for all.”

CM Joe Yinka Fadile, DCGN Joyce Oluwatoyin Fagbuyi and the Area Commander, Mr. Faleye reiterated their commitment to collaborating with the local government for a much effective operations within Ibarapa Central.

They lauded Hon. Adeleke for his proactive leadership and the significant progress being made under his administration as they sought for a continuous support to ensure their efforts in combating drug abuse are sustained and impactful.

According to DCGN Fagbuyi who spoke on their behalf:

“We recognize the tremendous work you are doing in Ibarapa Central, and we are eager to support you further in this mission. Our collaboration is crucial to ensuring that our operations are effective and far-reaching.”

According to the release, the visit was further strengthened by the presence of representatives from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigeria Police Force, who accompanied the commanders, underscoring the united front in tackling the menace of drug abuse.
