Peoples Democratic Party’s Chairmanship candidate in Ibarapa Central, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, widely known as Solar, expresses deep sorrow over the demise of Chief Solomon Ogunjimi in Ayete, Ibarapa North Local Government, Oyo State.

 

Hon. Adeleke, devastated by the news, conveys heartfelt sympathies to the Ogunjimi family, describing Chief Ogunjimi’s death as a significant loss to the entire Ibarapa community, particularly within the Peoples Democratic Party.

 

In his condolences made available to Asako news dated Tuesday 30th January 2024, Hon. Adeleke praises Chief Ogunjimi as an elder statesman whose departure leaves a void in Ibarapa’s political landscape. He urges the family to find solace in the cherished memories of Chief Ogunjimi, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to Yoruba culture and values.

 

The PDP Chairmanship candidate acknowledges the profound impact of Chief Ogunjimi’s loyalty on the party, noting that his legacy will endure. Hon. Adeleke assures the party’s leadership not to be disheartened by the loss, as Chief Ogunjimi’s principles of equity, fairness, and justice will guide the party’s path forward.
