In light of the sighting of the crescent moon marking the beginning of Ramadan 1445AH in Saudi Arabia, Amb. Adediran Waheed Cleverness extends heartfelt felicitation to Muslim Ummah around the world.

With the official commencement of Ramadan fasting begin today, Monday, March 11, 2024 Ambassador Adediran Waheed Cleverness shares in the joy and solemnity of this sacred month. As Muslims embark on this period of fasting, prayer and reflection, he emphasizes the importance of unity, compassion, charity and spiritual growth within the community.

Amb. Adediran Waheed Cleverness calls on all Muslims to embrace the teachings of Prophet Muhammad during and beyond Ramadan, fostering goodwill, generosity, and understanding among fellow citizens. He underscores the significance of solidarity and cooperation in tackling shared challenges and advancing the welfare of all members of society.

“Moreover, we must restrict the temptation of cursing our leaders as doing so will have direct or indirect impacts on us, the governed. Rather, we should pray for Nigeria indeed, leaders to God to purify their heart and guide them aright.

“It is time for governance; Peaceful co-existence, irrespective of our religious, ethnic or political differences, should be our watchword if truly we want a Nigeria of our dream to be a reality. There can never be progress where there is no peace.”
