OYO LG ELECTION 2024: Ibarapa Central PDP Unveils Victorious Journey at Flag Off: Unity, Assurance, and Commitment tops agenda.

On Sunday 28th of January 2024, the Methodist School Idere Playing Ground witnessed a vibrant gathering of PDP members, with youth and women enthusiastically receiving the party’s candidates. Emphasis were laid on unity, hard work, and assurance of regular empowerment programs.

The First Ibarapa Central PDP General Meeting and Flag Off Ceremony for the party’s candidates showcased a spirit of unity and determination as members gathered at the Methodist Playing Ground in Idere of the local government.

The Oyo State Commissioner for Trade, Investment, Hon. Ademola Ojo, urged party members to remain calm and focused on the forthcoming local poll scheduled for April 27, 2024. He assured members that there is light after the tunnel, as he emphasised confidence in victory.

The State Party Treasurer Alhaji Oluobu advised all candidates to be good ambassadors of the party, emphasizing the importance of hard work.

In his own remarks, member representing the Ibarapa Central and North federal Constuency, Hon. (Dr) Adebayo Anthony Adepoju (Ibarapa kan) expressed gratitude to party members for their support and prayers. He addressed concerns about opposition efforts, assuring members that the PDP’s empowerment program would be a yearly initiative, emphasizing unity and love within the party.

Alhaji Oluobu called out all the Councillors, Vice Chairman, and Chairman, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, presenting them to the party.

The party’s flagbearer for the forthcoming local poll, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Solar, thanked God for grace and greeted party leaders, local leaders, block and ward leaders. He pledged to prioritize the interests of party members and urged active participation in campaigning.
