ISOKAN GROUP HONORS FRSC AT 10TH ANNIVERSARY

An Ibarapa socio cultural group, Isokan Group of Ibarapa Land, a distinguished social club renowned for its commitment to community development, has on Sunday 17th November 2024 celebrated her 10th anniversary in grand style in Igboora, the headquarters of Ibarapa Central Local Government.

The social group has since it’s establishment in May 2014, consistently demonstrated a strong dedication to fostering progress and unity across Ibarapa land.

As part of the celebration, the group presented essential office items, including tables, chairs and other supplies to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS11.314, Igboora unit, aimed at recognizing their outstanding service to the community.

While receiving the items,  Judge Daniel, the unit commander of the FRSC expressed profound gratitude to the Isokan Group for the thoughtful donations, acknowledging how the gesture would enhance their operational efficiency. He noted that such recognition inspires the FRSC to continue its mission of ensuring road safety and saving lives.

Unit commander  Judge Daniel also took the opportunity to appreciate the club Patron, Otunba Ademola Ojo, who currently serves as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters. He described Otunba Ojo as a tireless mentor and selfless leader who has consistently worked for the betterment of the community.

“His dedication to the progress of Ibarapa land is unmatched, and we remain grateful for his unwavering support and exemplary leadership,” he remarked.

In a statement made available to Asako news by the Club’s Public Relations Officer, Rasaki Sakiru, the President of Isokan Group, Hon. Rasheed Okunlola, highlighted the remarkable journey of the club over the past decade. He emphasized their unwavering commitment to improving lives and championing projects that directly benefits the people of Ibarapa land.

“This milestone anniversary is a testament to our vision of unity and impactful service. Over the years, we have embarked on numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening our communities. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to doing even more for the betterment of Ibarapa land,” Hon. Okunlola stated.

The club Patron, Otunba Ademola Ojo, who was represented by Hon. Jamiu Oladapo, the supervisory councilor for works of Ibarapa Central Local Government, applaud the Isokan Group for their enduring dedication which he described as a shining example of what collective effort can achieve. He urged the members to remain steadfast in their mission of community service.

In his remarks at the occasion, the executive chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, commended the Isokan Group for their outstanding commitment to community development and assured them of his continuous support for initiatives that drive progress in the region.

The 10th anniversary of the Isokan Group was not just a celebration of past achievements but a powerful reminder of the transformative role social organizations can play in building better societies.
