“INTERACT WITH RESIDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR NEEDS”, HON. SOLA ADELEKE CHARGES AS HE SWEARS-IN SUPERVISORY COUNCILLORS & SAS IN IBARAPA CENTRAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT

The executive chairman, Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Sola Adeleke on Friday, 19th July 2024 swear-in supervisory councilors and special advisers for Ibarapa Central Local Government.

In a statement signed by the council chairman as made available to Asako news through his personal assistant, Sodiq Adesina, the ceremony was held at the Ibarapa Central Local Government Secretariat, Igboora which had in attendance Hon Olusola Adeleke, the Executive Chairman who personally administered the oath of office to newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Advisers (SAS).

In his address, Hon. Adeleke emphasised the roles expected of them as ambassadors for the community. He urged them to prioritize community engagement through interactions with residents, as by so doing, they understands their needs and effectively address them.

“As representatives of our dear community, you are entrusted with the responsibility of being the bridge between the local government and our residents,” Adeleke urged.

“It is imperative that we move closer to the people, listen to their concerns, and proactively work towards fulfilling their expectations”.

Reacting on behalf of the appointtees, Hon. Olaoniye, expressed gratitude to party leaders and the Executive Governor of Oyo State for their support and guidance. He acknowledged their role in advancing the collective goals of the local government.

Hon. Olusola Adeleke expressed confidence in the capabilities of the newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and SAS to make a positive impact in Ibarapa Central. He encouraged them to uphold integrity and commitment as they embark on their new roles.
