IGBOORA WORLD TWINS FESTIVAL 2024 TO HOLD BETWEEN 7TH-12TH OCTOBER, 2024

The Igboora Community in Oyo State, Nigeria has unveiled the 2024 edition of the global Twins Festival tagged : “Igboora World Twins Festival 2024”.

According to the 2024 Igboora Twins Festival Media and Publicity committee in a statement made available to Asako news dated Monday 23rd September, 2024, the festival aimed at celebratig the remarkable twin heritage of Igboora, the “Twins Capital of the World”, is scheduled to hold between October 7th to Saturday October 12th, 2024.

Expected at the event is the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Eng. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, Traditional rulers across Yoruba land, Captains of industries and corporate organisations.

The community enjoins the general public to join in celebrating an extraordinary festival that honors the unique culture of twin births in Igboora, Oyo State.

According to the release, the festival is more than just a celebration, but a cultural movement that brings together people from all walks of life to honour the blessing of multiple births.

The community urged Twins, friends and associates globally to mark their calendars, and mobilise their friends and family to jointly be part of the 2024 festival history.

As the event unfolds, the Igboora Community calls on he Sons and Daughters, home and in Diaspora to unite in celebrating the twin phenomenon that makes Igboora truly special.
