IBARAPA CLUB INC. PRESENTS 7TH SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
A non political and progressive club in Ibarapa land, Ibarapa Club has on Saturday 13th July, 2024 organised 7th edition of Scholarship Aptitude test for public secondary schools across Ibarapa land. The event which had in attendance members of the club, educationists and secondary school students took place at the Igboora High School Hall.
In a short lecture that preceeded the Aptitude test, a member of the club and guest lecturer, Dr. Rasaq Oladiti charged the students to stay focused on their studies and never relent only on classroom teachings.
Dr. Oladiti charged the students to hunt for best students as friend in other schools, this according to him will enhance meaningful interaction where knowledge is shared on academic exercise.
“You are expected to have a ‘right mind set’. Along the way, challenges may come, do not fear and always have it at your mind that you can do it, as you move, your future is bright”, he concluded.
The President of the Club, Dr.Ajibolu Oke in his welcome address, appreciated the students for coming and encouraged them to face thier studies no matter challenges on thier academic pursuit.
Dr. Oke urged the students to always have good focus for thier future, as according to him, he prayed and hope to see them doing greatly in the future. He equally appreciate all the teachers present at the program for coming.
The Aptitude test which lasted for One hour saw
Lawal Basit (Igboora High School) ,Adeoye Ayomide (Igboora High School) and Abd.Azeez Abd.Akeem (Igboora Secondary school) as winners from Ibarapa Central; so also, Aroseh Mauton (Itabo High School Lanlate), Abolanle Oyinkansola (Obaseiku Grammar school) and Odedara Bisoye (Eruwa high school Eruwa) emerged winners from Ibarapa East.
No public school attended from Ibarapa North Local Government, but Students from Maja Academy, Igangan which was the only school present at the venue were honored to write the test and were compensated alongside Royal Kastad College Igboora.
The three successful students from each local government were awarded scholarship of #30,000 each.
The personalities and members of the club at the program include Dr.Amoo Gafar, Hon.Tokunbo Toriola,Mrs Oke Ajibolu, Mr.Laolu Adeyemo and other personalities.
