IBARAPA CENTRAL L.G ELECTION: “POSTERITY WILL JUDGE US ALL”….. EGUNBAMBI REACTS

The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded April 27 local government election in Ibarapa Central Local Government, Alhaji Waliu Egunbanbi has reacted to the events that witnessed the election which he described as “SELECTION” as it was filled with political manipulations by the PDP.

In his official reaction made available to Asako news on Saturday, 27th April, Egunbambi reintegrated the cord of relationship that exists between the late fathers of both contestants, which according to him, lived their lives and history will definitely not forget them as they are all in the presence of their creator.

Egunbambi appreciated individuals and party faithfuls (APC) and leaders, who have found him worthy to bear the Party’s flag. According to him, despite all odds, he remained a committed party man as always.

Read his reaction:

“A very good afternoon to you My respected people of Ibarapa Central. I urge everyone to remain calm and still confident even in the face of the glaring political manipulations by the PDP. I do hope that democracy would be restored in the nearest future.

“Don’t forget as I mentioned during a meeting summoned by our traditional rulers on peace in the buildup to today’s (SELECTION). On that day, I highlighted one thing we the candidates and our respective campaign DG’s shared in common. Chief Deacon Adeleke the father of the PDP Candidate, Hon Olusola Adeleke is now in the presence of the Almighty God. Baba Oyee ‘The Tailor’ as he was fondly called, who is the Father to my respected brother, Bro Yemi Atilola (DG campaign of the PDP) is now also in the presence of the Almighty God. My father Alhaji JIMOH ALABI EGUNBAMBI, and Alhaji JIMOH KARAOLE who is the father of my very respected brother, leader and mentor Hon. Engr. Aliameen Tunde Bello are both in the presence of their creator.

“Our fathers mentioned above lived their lives and history will definitely not forget them all. I am bold enough to say we their children are now writing ours, and I am very confident posterity will judge us all.

“Again, I urge our supporters to remain very calm and law abiding even in the face of intimidation by all the cohesive apparatus of state and those who will the apartheid of political suzerain. We have to be very careful so that our community remain a peaceful place to live in after the SELECTIONS.

“I am very grateful to my party the APC and it’s leaders, for finding me worthy to bear the Party’s flag. And I also promise to be a committed party man as always.

“The history of hitherto existing societies is the history of class struggle. If not now, then when???……. STRUGGLE CONTINUES!!!” , Egunbambi concluded.
