Ibadan Explosion: Ibarapakan commiserates with Makinde and victims, lauds Makinde’s swift response
Member Representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has commiserated with the families of individuals who lost their lives and properties in the massive explosion that rocked Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, yesterday, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
The lawmaker, while commiserating with the victims in a statement made available to Asako news through his media aide, Hassan Olaoniye dated Wednesday 17th January, 2024, he lauded Engr. Seyi Makinde’s swift response, which, according to him, resulted in the instant rescue of victims from the scene of the blast at the popular Adeyi Estate, Bodija, Ibadan.
“It is regrettable to hear about the big bang that rocked the major parts of Ibadan City last night. I commiserate with the families of the victims of this heinous act and those who lost their properties as a result of the blast.
“The prompt response of the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, was critical in the aftermath of the explosion. His swift action in getting the situation under control is highly commendable”….he concluded.
