HON. OLUSOLA ADELEKE LAUNCHES OMITUNTUN 2.0 ENTERPRISE SKILLS PROGRAMME IN IBARAPA CENTRAL

Under the visionary leadership of Honorable Olusola Adeleke, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, the Omituntun 2.0 Enterprise Skills Development Programme has been successfully launched. This innovative initiative is designed to empower young individuals with the skills and knowledge essential for success in the entrepreneurial landscape.

The Omituntun Enterprise Skills Development Programme aims to drive economic growth, alleviate unemployment, and foster sustainable development across Oyo State.

Powered by the Oyo State Ministry of Youths and Sports under the stewardship of Honorable Wasila Adegoke, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, the programme signifies a commitment to nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Today, Tuesday, 9th July 2024, marked a significant milestone as Honorable Olusola Adeleke warmly welcomed participants from across the Ibarapa zone. The event highlighted the importance of equipping youth with practical skills, promoting innovation, and creating opportunities for socio-economic advancement.

In his message, signed and made available through his personal assistant Sodiq Adesina, Hon. Adeleke emphasized the programme’s role in empowering youth to become catalysts for positive change within their communities. He underscored the importance of collaboration and perseverance in achieving sustainable growth and development.

“I am delighted to see the enthusiasm and dedication of our young participants. The Omituntun 2.0 programme is not just about skills development but about nurturing future leaders who will drive our local economy forward,” Adeleke stated.

He further extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his unwavering support and commitment to youth empowerment initiatives across the state. He acknowledged Governor Makinde’s leadership in creating an enabling environment for programs like Omituntun 2.0 to thrive.
