BREAKING: GUNMEN ATTACKED IGBOORA TCN FACILITY, KILLED TWO SECURITY GUARDS.

Unknown gunmen has reportedly attacked the Transmission Company of Nigeria facility situated at Igbole Igboora in the midnight of Sunday, 2nd June 2024.

When Asako news accessed the scene of the incident, two security guards on duty who tried to resist the armed gunmen from carting away electricity equipments were murdered in coldblood while remains were tied down.

According to the guard on duty named Mukaila Morakinyo:

“Good morning sirs. We just got the sad news of the unfortunate murder of the two night securitymen guarding the TCN facility at Igbole Igboora.

“This is a suspected robbery attack on the facility as the killed securitymen had resisted attempts to steal cables and other equipment in the past.

“The security man on morning duty got there this morning to find their lifeless bodies tied and murdered”…he concluded.

Lamenting the poor working condition, another security guard met on duty said:

“We work under risk since 12years now, no weapon to resist this kind of insecurity.

“Our salary is too meagre, they just increased our salary to #30,000 monthly. How does that sustain us despite this risk of lives?”he concluded
