BMU BOSS, PROF. AFONJA, AND OTHER DIGNITARIES GATHER IN IBARAPA FOR WASFOD AFFAIRS ’24

In a grand celebration, notable figures from various sectors attended the WASFOD Affairs ’24 event to honor the union of Oke Wasiu Ayinde (Pattern) and Fodhilat Adebola.

Held on May 26th, 2024, at Ansarul Deen Primary School in Ayete/Tapa, the event saw attendance from family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers from across Nigeria.

The ceremony was presided over by Hon. Usman Olorunwa, represented by his father, Alhaji Usman Mayeloye of Ayete. Distinguished guests included former Oyo State Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Prof. Abdulrahman Afonja, Dr. Gbade Akinteye and staff from Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic.

In his welcome address, Dr. Akinteye, Acting Rector, Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, advised the couple on the importance of tolerance and divine guidance in their marriage, while also commending the groom’s character. The guest lecturer emphasized the husband’s role as a leader, urging him to set a positive example for his wife.

Alhaji Usman Mayeloye of Ayete Land offered prayers and advice, stressing the importance of commitment and sincerity in building a successful marriage.

A heartfelt appreciation to Prof. Abdulrahman Afonja, former Oyo State Commissioner for Works, for gracing the event with his presence. His support and timely arrival were greatly appreciated, adding significant value to the occasion.

The groom expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees for their support and presence.
