Barr. Opeyemi Tijani (BOT) has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Oyekanmi Titiloye, Abioje Gbadewolu 1, on his official coronation and presentation of the staff of office by the Governor of Oyo State.

In his congratulatory message, Barr. Tijani praised the new Elempe of Tapa land, in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State, as eminently worthy of his ascension to the throne of his forefathers. He urged Oba Titiloye to leverage his extensive network and exceptional leadership skills to bring prosperity not only to Tapa but to the entire Ibarapa region.

He stated, “I congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Oyekanmi Titiloye, Abioje Gbadewolu 1, on his official coronation and the presentation of the staff of office as the new Elempe of Tapa. With the decision of the sons and daughters of Tapa to choose this distinguished monarch, the progress and development of Tapa in particular and Ibarapa land in general is assured. The new Elempe is enjoined to uphold the remarkable legacies of his predecessors, who have consistently championed the development of Tapa land from ancient times.”

Noting the overwhelming support for the revered Monarch, he stated, “Oba Titiloye will have the united backing of all as he steers the affairs of his domain. He also has my support and together with the great sons and daughters of Tapa, we will rally, pray, and work towards the betterment of Tapa and the Ibarapa region at large.”
“I am confident that your reign will be prosperous. Your extensive experience in administration and diplomatic affairs will undoubtedly steer Tapa towards greatness again and we are sure to keep celebrating our tradition and culture on the global stage. Oba Elempe, may your reign be long, prosperous, peaceful, and progressive.
My heartfelt congratulations once more, and may the presentation of your Staff of Office be a glorious and auspicious landmark, marking a new era, in the history of Tapa” he said.
