BARR. OPEYEMI TIJANI-BOT CELEBRATES NIGERIAN WORKERS ON MAY 1ST: “A TRIBUTE TO DEDICATION AND RESILIENCE”
An Ibarapa based Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barrister Opeyemi Tijani (BOT) has felicitated with workers on the occasion of the workers’ Day on May 1st which is a day commemorated to celebrate International Workers’ Day, it is essential to reflect on the invaluable contributions of Nigerian workers to the growth and development of our nation. From the bustling streets of Abuja to the serene villages of Ibarapa Land, Nigerian workers embody the spirit of diligence, perseverance and resilience.
Barrister Opeyemi Tijani further highlighted that In every sector, be it agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, education, technology and more, Nigerian workers play a pivotal role in driving progress and innovation. Despite facing numerous challenges, including inadequate infrastructure and economic instability, they continue to labor tirelessly to secure a brighter future.
Today, he salute the farmers who toil under the scorching sun to feed the nation, the healthcare workers who work tirelessly to provide essential services, the teachers who shape and build the minds of tomorrow’s leaders, the engineers who build our infrastructure, and the countless others who contribute their skills and expertise to the fabric of our society at large.
Let us not forget the informal sector workers, the street vendors, artisans, and small-scale entrepreneurs, who form the backbone of our economy, often operating in challenging conditions yet displaying remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness. He said
