AKOREDE FLAGOFF RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN. PROMISE MORE DIVIDEND OF DEMOCRACY

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP Chairmanship candidate in Ibarapa North local government, Hon. Lateef Adebare Akorede has on, Friday 8th March, 2024 flagged off his re-election campaign for the forthcoming local government election in Oyo state.

The flag off was done at the Igangan town hall in Igangan under the Adebare 2.0 mantra.

Addressing the mamoth crowd of artisans, market men and women, especially PDP party faithfuls, Honourable Lateef Akorede promised to continue to deliver the Dividends of Democracy to the people of Ibarapa North local government, to complement the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde under the Omituntun 2.0 mantra.

Akorede said under the Adebare 2.0, he will ensure the completion of many projects. He thanked members of the party and the good people of Ibarapa North for their support and prayers.

The events also witnessed the returning of some loyalists of the former member, house of representative representing Ibarapa Central and North federal Constuency, Hon. Dr. Saubana Muraina back to the party. The members were led by Mr. Ganiyu Ogundeji.

Also part of the decampees included a former local government Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Francis Omolewu Jebele and his Group from the Accord party, they were led by Fehintola Sola Francis.

Also some members of the NNPP who decamped to PDP were led by Mr. Ojedokun Nurudeen.

Present at the flag off were lawmakers representing Ibarapa North and Ibarapa Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adepoju Adebayo; lawmaker represented Ibarapa North and Ibarapa Central State Constituency, Hon. Peter Ojedokun, Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Otunba Ademola Obafemi Ojo, former commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Funmilayo Orishadeyi, Oyo South Senatorial PDP Senatorial Chairman, executive members of the PDP in Ibarapa North, members of the party among others.
