“ADHERE TO MEASURES AGAINST CHOLERA PANDEMIC”…..AKOREDE URGES IBARAPA NORTH RESIDENCE

As a measure to curtail the spread of Cholera outbreak ravaging the country, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government Ayete, Hon. Lateef Adebare Lawal.(Akorede) has charged the people of Ibarapa North to prevent themselves and their households by following preventive measures put in place by the Oyo State Government in line with the World Health organization.

Speaking through the Head of Information Unit of the Local Government, Onifade R. Olukemi in a statement dated 2nd July, 2024 as made available to Asako news, Hon Akorede emphasizes on how contagious the said Cholera is and the ways it could be contacted through remnants of infected persons. According to Akorede:

“Reason why we should be careful with our Foods, Drinks, and spread of clothes anyhow in our neighborhoods. This is why we have introduced to the populace the ready made measures initiated by His Excellency, Eng. Seyi Makinde to prevent and tackle this Pandemic.

“This is done in all the local Governments and their LCDAs to show the governor’s love towards us in Ibarapa, and Oyo State in general.

“All you need to do is visit our Maternity Centres and meet our Competent Health Officials on the said measures to fight the course, which you are to adhere strictly to, this definitely will prevent us from the dangerous outbreak from entering our locality”, Akorede concluded.
