Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Clinches Top Honors at Statewide Debate Competition

Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, emerged victorious as the sole representing polytechnic from Oyo State at the grand finale of the Engr. (Chief) Jubril Dotun Sanusi Inter-Campus Debate Competition and Oration. This prestigious event, held in honor of the students’ friendly Governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, was organized by National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council Oyo State Axis and took place at the Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort.

Asako reporters gathered that Abidoye Israel Tobiloba from the Civil Engineering department (HND2), along with Babalola Deborah Boluwatife and Ayeni Aanuoluwapo Titilope from the Mass Communication department (HND1), represented the school at the competition. Their outstanding performance secured the First Position with cash prize of N200,000 (Two hundred thousand Naira only), Certificates of Participation for all participants, and a prestigious award of honor for the SUG President.

In the grand finale, Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic surpassed other esteemed institutions, with the final rankings as follows:

1. First Position: Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa

2. Second Position: University of Ibadan

3. Third Position: Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso
