SHUN NARCOTICS, AND BE USEFUL TO THE SOCIETY….. Cleric advised Youths at Olu of Igboora Ramadan lecture.

The second Ramadan lecture organised by His Royal Majesty Alhaji Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye (Asorolu Ayinla V), Olu of Igbo-ora land took a unique dimension as it focused mainly on causes and effects of rampant criminality among Youths currently experienced in our society; the well attended event was graced by royal fathers, personalities and religious scholars, held at the Olu of Igboora Ultra modern palace on Sunday, 16th of April 2023.

In his goodwill message, the Royal father, Oba Titiloye urged parents, guidance and elder ones to always train and guide their wards in moral and religious route, as Youths looks up to them as role models. Most Youths engage in this immoral acts as a result of seeing their elders in such. He thanked all the Obas, Islamic Leaders and personalities who came far and near to witness the second edition of the Ramadan lecture.

The guest lecturer, Sheikh Muhd-Yakub Mustopha Onikeke while doing justice to the topic: “Islamic view of Narcotics: It’s effects and consequences on Nigeria Youths” hilighted that narcotic drugs are prohibited and forbidden in Islam due to its embodiment of various calamities, harms and dangers that damages such individual’s natural talent, wisdom, health, intelligence, family values, society, State and the government.

According to the Islamic cleric, no religion preaches in support of Narcotics, why must we now partake in such a deadly act?

Traditional rulers who physically graced the event include His Majesty, Okere of Saki, Sabigana of Iganna, Olokaka of Okaka, Baajigan of Ilaju Ile, Onidofin of Idofin, Onisagan of saganun, Jagun of Idere, Jagun of Iberekodo and various Chiefs across Ibarapa region.

Other dignitaries include the House of Representatives elect fo Ibarapa North and Central federal constituency, Dr. Anthony Adepoju, Chairman Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Doyin Adeoye, Alhaji O. M Abass, Alhaja Ranti Adedigba, Chief Mrs Adewole Ojo, Alhaja Sherifat Abass, Engr. Ibrahim Kunle, Alhaja Fasasi F. Faidat and several other personalities.

Islamic Leaders at the event include Alhaji Muhd Yushau Muhd Jamiu Alobalowo(Chief Imam of Igboora Land), Alhaji Sheikh Al-Imam Ligali Adebayo, Imam Mutiullahi Aderogba (Chief Imam Orile central Mosque),Chief Imam of Nawair Ur Deen Central mosque, Imam Orile Iserin central mosque and several Islamic organisations.
