IGBOORA WORLD TWINS FESTIVAL SET TO HOLD BETWEEN 9TH – 14TH OCTOBER, 2023

The global celebration of Twins festival is scheduled to hold in Igboora, Ibarapa Central Local Government area of Oyo State between Monday 9th – 14th October, 2023.

In a statement issued by the Secretary Igboora Twins festival planning committee, Hon. Adeniyi Adetona, the one week program will feature World press conference, Quize competition, novelty football match, games, confirment of Chieftaincy title and the grand finale holds at the mainbow of Methodist grammar school, Sagaun, Igboora.

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Eng. Seyi Makinde is expected grace the occasion as the Special guest of honour while royal fathers across Yoruba land are equally expected to grace the event.

In his message, the Olu of Igboora and Chairman Ibarapa Central Local Government traditional council, Oba Jimoh Titiloye on behalf of other traditional rulers appreciate God for been alive to witness another annual global event which showcases the uniqueness of Igboora Community; as he welcome personalities globally, he prayed for a successful celebration.

Week-long event Activities is scheduled as follows:

Monday(9th October, 2023) :- World press conference: 10am at Community Town Hall, Sagan-un, Igbo-ora.

Tuesday (10th October, 2023):- Quiz competition among Secondary schools Twins. 3pm at Community Town Hall, Sagan-un, Igbo-ora.

Wednesday (11th October, 2023):- Novelty Football match among twins. 4pm at Methodist Grammar school, Sagan-un, Igbo-ora.

Thursday (12th October, 2023):- Cultural activities/Film show by BABA Sala titled: ERE AJO. *12noon-6pm (12-2pm, 2-4pm & 4-6pm) at community Town Hall, Sagan-un, Igbo-ora.

Friday (13th October, 2023):- Jumat service/ conferment of chieftaincy titles on the illustrious sons and daughters/Computer Training Program. 10am at Methodist Grammar school. ( jumat service at Igbo-ora, Central Mosque).

Saturday (14th October, 2023):- GRAND FINALE: Parade of twins, Fund raising and other side attractions. At Methodist Grammar School, Sagan-un, Igbo-ora.

Sunday (15th October, 2023):- Church Thanksgiving service. At Methodist Church, Oke Agogo, Igboora.
