FAMILY DONATE HEALTH CARE CENTER TO IMMORTALISE ALHAJI JIMOH ATILOLA ADEDIGBA

The premises of Muslim Association of Nigeria (MAN) Ibadan Branch was occupied by well wishers from far and near on Wednesday, 30 August, 2023 (Yawm al-‘Arb’aa’, 13 Safar, 1445). The revered and networth personalities were assembled for Commissioning of an Ultra Modern Primary Health Care Center to serve as a Perpetual Charity (Sadaqah al-jaariyah) in honour of late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adedigba.

The family of late Alhaji Jimoh Atilola Adetonwa Adedigba deemed it necessary to keep ever green their beloved. As a result of the impeccable intention, an elephant and gigantic structure was erected for the benefit of Muslim and non Muslim faithful resident at Oke Ado and environs.

Alhaji Adedigba was a staunch and accomplished Muslim. During his sojourn on the surface of earth, he sincerely and humbly served Igboora Community, Muslim Community of Oyo State and MAN in particular as he was the Secretary of the Ibadan Branch for couple of years.

To the amazement of the attendants of the auspicious occasion, construction of the multi million naira project took four (4) months as it commenced on 3 March, 2023 and commissioned on 30 August, 2023.

Following distinguished personalities, Monarch and representatives of some notable Islamic Organisations graced the epoch-making event: HE, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engnr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE… ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matter; Head of the Civil Service of Oyo State, Alh. K. Aderibigbe and other top government functionaries; Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdul Ganiy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, represented by Magaji Abata; Chief Imam of Igbooraland, Sheikh Yushau Jamiu Alobalowo; HRM. Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, Asoro Olu V, The Olu of Igboora; HRM. Oba Kingsley Aderoju Onikola, Onidere of Idere; HRM. In his Welcome Address, the Chairman of MAN, Ibadan Branch and the Host, Alh. Abdur-Rahman Olawale AbdulGaniy appreciated Adedigba’s family for their kind gesture and for complimenting Oyo State Government efforts in the area of Health Care Delivery. He also solicited support of the Oyo State Government with Medical Doctors, Nurses and Midwives and Community Health Extension Workers for smooth operations of the Center.

In their Goodwill Messages, overwhelming majority of the Special Guests eulogised Adedigba’s family for the display of compassion and magnanimity for the repose of Alhaji Jimoh Adedigba. They prayed Allah for His abundant mercies over the entire family.
