Akorede endorsed IBAYA 2023

The Ibarapa Youths Awards and Social Impact Initiative (IBAYA) has announced the endorsement and sponsorship of the Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lateef A. Lawal. According to a statement made available to Asako news by IBAYA, dated 24th October, 2023, Akorede’s endorsement testifies his growing support for youth empowerment, talent recognition, and community development in Ibarapa region.

The statement described Hon Akorede as a visionary local government boss who has severally demonstrated unwavering commitment to the betterment of the Ibarapa Community especially on youth empowerment.

According to the press release signed by Okegbemi Olusoji, the Convener of IBAYA:

“We are deeply honored and grateful to have the endorsement and sponsorship of Ibarapa North Local Government, led by the Chairman, Hon. Lateef A Lawal. His support strengthens our mission to celebrate excellence and make a lasting positive impact on the lives of young people in Ibarapa.”

The sponsorship from Ibarapa North Local Government boss will contribute to the success of the award ceremony and the Social Impact Initiative, which aims to purchase school uniforms and other school materials for underprivileged students and provide nutritious meals to aged widows in the community.

The maiden edition of IBAYA is scheduled to be held on December 17, 2023.
