YOU ARE A LIVING ICON; AKOREDE EXTOLS OLORI AKINYEMI AT BOOK LAUNCH

 

The Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government Hon. Lateef Akorede has described the wife of late Onipako of Pako, Kabiesi Lamidi Akinyemi as a living icon and rare Gem.

Speaking in Igboora at Olori Amdalat Akinyemi’s walimotul – Qur’an and public presentation of a book titled: “Itan bibi Ibeji ni Ilu Igboora ati agbegbge re” authored by Olori Amudalat Akinyemi on Saturday.

Speaking through the secretary of Ibarapa North Local Government, Mr. Seun Olopade who represented the Council Boss, described Mama as rare gem and a symbolic representation of good motherhood.

 

He further stated that Mama is An icon, a paragon of virtue and epitome of emulation. “For mama to do walimot at that age, she has shown to the entire world that nothing un-achievable with zeal, sacrifice and interest.

 

He described the book launch by Mama to be a compendium of fact and an embodiment of knowledge.

 

Mama has contributed immensely to the overall development of Ibarapa by rendering philanthropical services to the growth and development of Ibarapa region.

 

Mama has invested alot in human capacity development. She has severally advocated for good governance through the bogus payment of political appointees/ elected officers and these has made people who have interest of masses at heart to join politics.
