WHY I PICKED HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY FORM AGAINST INITIAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE……Soliu Lawal

As against the public expectation of contesting for House of Representative reportedly zoned to Ibarapa North Local Government by APC leadership in Ibarapa, the Igangan born APC politician, Hon. Soliu Lawal Adelodun has picked expression of Interest and nomination form to contest the 2023 house of assembly election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

Lawal, made this known on Thursday while speaking with Asako Reporters.

Soliu said the forms were collected by himself as against the speculations that a house of representatives hopeful, Hon. Olusegun Okanlawon did so on his behalf.

“Today, the forms are being collected by myself and not any group or individuals”; just as the house of assembly hopeful continues his interactions with APC stakeholders across the State Constituency.

It would be recalled that the APC expression of interest and nomination forms cost N2 million.

In the APC, at least 5 candidates are already in the race from the two local government that made up the constituency.

While reacting to the question on why he breached the zoning arrangements agreed by the party leaders; Adelodun Said, the leaders did not do it the way it supposed because their sudden zoning arrangements was to bar Hon Saubana Muraina from collecting the house of representatives returning ticket having heard he was on the verge to join the political party then.

Speaking on the sudden ambition of house of assembly as against house of representatives he has been campaigning for, he said PDP has already giving ticket to an Ibarapa Central born to vie the house of representatives and should APC make mistake by zoning the ticket to Ibarapa North, it is possible for Ibarapa Central to win both Federal and State House of Assembly.
