RAMADAN 2022: IMAM JAMIU ALOBALOWO, CHIEF IMAM OF IGBOORA DECLARE APRIL 2ND AS THE FIRST DAY OF RAMADAN
Sheikh Muhammad Yush’au Jamiu Alobalowo, the Chief Imam of Igboora land has announced that this year’s Ramadan fast will commence on Saturday, 2nd of April.
The Chief Imam of Igboora land while delivering Jum’ah sermon yesterday, 18th of March, 2022 at Igboora Central mosque declares Friday, 1st of April, 2022 as the last day of Shaban 1443 AH and Saturday, 2nd of April, 2022 as the first day of Ramadan 1443 AH.
Imam Yushau, while delivering sermon said according to League of Imam and Alfas in Yoruba land and Edo/ Delta in a meeting on Thursday 17th of March 2022 which was held at Ibadan concluded that the month of Shaban will end on 1st of April, 2022 while the Ramadan begins on 2nd of April, 2022.
Imam Alobalowo further said he was announced as the Chairman, League of Imam and Alfas in Ibarapa Land.
Alobalowo urged all Muslims in Ibarapa land to use the occasion of the holy month to pray fervently for the region and the nation at large and engage in acts of charity in the month and beyond.
