OLU OF IGBOORA LAND INSTALL FIRST BAALE ASAKO

The Permanent Chairman, Ibarapa Central Local Government traditional council, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, on Saturday installed Awoniran Ifabamise Ojebode as the first Baale of Asako – Igboora.

 

The Olu of Igboora, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, welcomed scores of traditional rulers from across the region to witness the installation of Awoniran, who is the first person to attain the throne of Baale Asako.

 

Among the traditional rulers present at the occasion were Oba Jamiu Badmos, The Olu Aso of Iberekodo, Oba Olusanjo Ojo, The Babaaso of Iberekodo – Igbole, HRM Oba Fasasi Jinadu, The Onisagan – un of Sagan – un among others.

 

While responding to questions asked by our correspondent, the Olu of Igboora land, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye, said the installation of Ojebode as Baale Asako is the first in the history of the community. The monarch said the installation is long overdue considering the developments in the town.

 

He further stated Awoniran Ifabamise Ojebode is worthy to installed as Baale of Asako because he is a direct descendant of Arapanajo whose their ancestors is Obe Alade (The founder of Asako – Igboora) and that Awoniran is a thoroughbred Igboora man who is culturally-inclined and traditionally-oriented personality that can wear the toga of Igboora royalty and to be a promoter of the institution of Chieftaincy.
