OGUNDOYIN IS EXPERIENCED NOW, HE WILL PERFORM FAR BETTER IF GIVEN CHANCE IN 2023

Olawuyi Taiwo is one of the children of late madam Sifau Olawuyi. He talks about his mother’s lifestyle, strengths and weaknesses, relationship between him and the speaker of Oyo State and his chances in 2023 with Asako Reporters correspondent.

Asako Reporters: Can we meet you Sir?

Response: I’m Mr Olawuyi Taiwo. A. K. A.. Snr pastor comrade Banabas

Asako Reporters: Recently, you lost your beloved mother, How would you describe your mother?

Response: Infact, iya ibeji as she fondly called was an adorable woman. She died for her children to live fine. She was a very rare gel.She was the pillar that held our family structures together

Asako Reporters: What are the favours you get as the son of madam Sifau Olawuyi?

Response: I’m so lucky to come to this world through her. Because of her good gestures, people used to adore us wherever we go. They used to attend to our needs just because of her. In fact, she could be best described as a master key that opens all locked doors for us

Can you tell us about her lifestyle, her strengths and weaknesses?

Response: She was a devoted xtian. despite her Muslim background.She dedicated most of her time for prayers. She never missed early morning prayer and end -of-the-day-prayer. She has solution to all financial problems of the entire family. She couldn’t tolerate indolent. She would not stop complaining until you get it right. I think that should be her weak area.She hates liars with passion, she hates infidelity and alcoholic drinks

Asako Reporters: What will you miss most about your late mother?

Response: I will surely miss her daily calls like 5 times per day. Though, I used to complain then but now that I needed her calls most, they are not forthcoming .I will surely miss her timely response to all our emergency needs. Who will be doing back ups for us like her?

Asako Reporters: The mother of the speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, madam Tina Ogundoyin attended the final burial of your late mother but many people are wondering why the speaker, Rt Adebowale Ogundoyin wasn’t present, what could be the reason why he didn’t attend event?

Response: Yes. I was happy to receive the Iyalaje general chief Mrs Tina Ogundoyin at that big event. She gave us a surprise that day. She wore the general Ankara, identifying with the entire family. This is a great honour to our family and we really appreciate her. About the rt hon speaker, in all fairness, he told me that he would attend in person. In fact, he sent his aides to inform me of his coming as at 2pm on Saturday but some minutes later, he was called upon to attend to some unexpected state functions.

Asako Reporters: What’s your relationship with the RT. Hon speaker of Oyo State?

Response: We have a very cordial relationship. He treats me as his brother and I treat him as my brother too. He is very simple and humble, he is not proud that’s why I love him beyond measure. I used to complain where necessary and he would listen to my position on issues. Generally, our relationship is fantastic. He uses to play a very good role in anything that concerns me and I use to reciprocate same

Asako Reporters: Constituents are lamenting on the performances of the Hon. Adebowale Ogundoyin, do you think he will be given any chance again come 2023 general election?

Response: Actually, he has tried his best for his people. He is a very young guy who needs more time to understand stick and carrots approach of Ibadan politics. He is experienced now, he would perform far better if given chance in 2023. We understand what he is facing on daily basis. All he wants is how his people will enjoy the government but try to understand that everything is all about governor’s priority and areas of interest.Though,I understand our people very well but we still need to exercise patience and rally round him in order to enjoy the government better. No time is late in government.
