JUST IN: TRANSITION COMMITTEE TO OVERSEE THE AFFAIRS OF FIBSA – STAKEHOLDERS

BEING THE COMMUNIQUE OF FIBSA STAKEHOLDERS MEETING AND INAUGURATION OF FIBSA TRANSITION COMMITTEE TO OVERSEE THE AFFAIRS OF THE UNION AND CONDUCT A FRESH ELECTION.

Solidarity greetings to the entire students populace of Ibarapaland studying both home and abroad.

Sequel to the FIBSA STAKEHOLDERS MEETING HELD AT METHODIST GRAMMAR SCHOOL IGBOORA ON 9th & 10th April, 2022 where the stakeholders look for way forwards to resolve the issue of two factional president’s but couldn’t find a way to merge the two factions and which later leads to dissolution of the two factions. The dissolution which is the only possible way forward to revive the union and find a lasting solution to the union problems.

The two factional presidents in person of Com. Gabriel Timilehin Michael (GT Mike) and Com. Ojewola Paul Kehinde (Paulo) solemnly agreed that they should be dissolved and a caretaker Committee should be put in place and that each community should nominate people that will protect the interest of there community to the caretaker Committee and which everyone present did.

The nomination which is as follows;

1.Com. Adeleke Adeola- nominated by Com. Ojewola Paul(Factional president) Igangan.

2. Com. Shittu Ibrahim – nominated by Com. Gabriel Timilehin Michael (Factional president) Ayete

3. Com. Ogunjimi Yinka – nominated by Sen. Ogunjimi Friday ( former senate president) Tapa.

4. Com. Tunde Adebayo – nominated by Com. Ogunjobi Dimeji O. (Former National President) Idere.

5. Com. Ojeniyi Roqeeb – nominated by Com. Dele Adewuyi ( Former Fibsaiec Secretary) Igboora.

6. Com. Adelakun Michael Oluwaseyi – nominated by Com. Ayandele Ayuba ( former National President) Eruwa.

The stakeholders in there effort to move the union forward call another meeting to inaugurate the transition committee on Sunday 1st of May, and Monday 2nd of May, 2022 but prove abortive due to eid fitr festive season. They later agreed to inaugurate the committee virtually and they’re assigned to carry out the duty to review the constitution of the union and conduct a fresh Election for the union within a maximum period of six months.

*In lieu of the above, the stakeholders wish to inform the general public that whosoever deals with the two dissolved factional presidents in the interest of Fibsa National do so at his own peril* *the stakeholders also use this medium to reiterate that the two factional president’s should stop parading themselves as the union President henceforth and whosoever caught in that act will face the full wrath of law for impersonation*

Also the stakeholders uses this privilege to introduce the caretaker Committee to the general public as follows:
