” The company yielded and returned to site, but shortly after Ajimobi’s demise, the company folded up ”
“I can assure you as I speak, we’re linking Ibarapa to Oke-Ogun. We have awarded the construction of Igana – Igangan to Igboora road”
Speaking further, the governor said : “I decided to terminate the project owing to the contractor’s failure to meet up with the specification and I have re- awarded the project. 30% has been paid by the contractor, I will sign the file as soon as we return to Ibadan and they will be mobilised to the site. In his conclusion:
“The other critical road which is Eruwa – Ido – Ibadan, I have inspected Eruwa – Maya road this morning, as there are two critical roads linking Igboora; it’s either via Maya or Eruwa township; by the grace of God, before our flag off on January 7th, 2023, all road works within Ibarapa will have reached a feasible and convincing state “.

However, different critisism has continue to greeted the governor’s Ibarapa Town Hall meeting on social media pages; some school of thought blamed attendants of the meeting by not using the opportunity of the audience with the governor to ask germaine questions about neglect of the Ibarapas since assumption of office about four years ago. They lamented on issues of non – pronouncement of substantive management in OYSCATECH despite a free and transparent screening of applicants where the Ibarapa born Prof. Akinola Akinlabi came first as the Rector, epileptic power outage, abandoned Igboora Stadium, potable water (malfunctioning Dams), farm settlement, Igboora Stadium, uncompleted Street lights across Ibarapa towns to mention few compared to developmental projects in other zones by the present administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.
