Ibarapa kan, Fakorede, DAFF, OOF, Akorede, Soliu Lawal , CANDY, Ojoko, Oluyemi, Afefe Oro others bag YCYW Award

Personalities from Ibarapa throng the Ilaji resorts, Akanran Ibadan to celebrate their owns as Dr. Bayo Adepoju (Ibarapa kan), Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi (DAFF), Hon. Seun Fakorede (Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sport), Hon. Lateef Akorede (Executive Chairman, Ibarapa North Local Government), Eng. Olusegun Okanlawon (OOF), Basorun Soliu Lawal, Olusegun Taiwo (DJ Candy) Eng. Oluyemi Michael, Ojoko Hotels and the Asako Radio Anchor, Afefe Oro were among selected 100 Youth personalities selected across the State and awarded by the apex Yoruba socio cultural group, Yoruba Council Of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) Oyo State chapter, tagged: “Outstanding Omoluabi Pataki brand award”.

The presentation occurred at the maiden OYO STATE OMOLUABI PATAKI AWARD held at Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Akanran Road, Ibadan on Sunday, 2nd October, 2022.

Speaking on behalf of the Awardees, Dr. Bayo Adepoju (Ibarapa kan), appreciated the Oyo State Governor, H.E, Eng . Oluseyi Makinde for creating an enabling environment for youth participation in Oyo State polity; he equally appreciated the Oyo State Council of YCYW, under the leadership of Aare Alawode Rahmon Akintunde for dreaming individual awardees fit among various youth personalities across the State.

In his remarks at the event, Prince Tayo Akinyemi, one of the state adviser of YCYW appreciated the organizers of the program for recognizing Youthful efforts towards the Nation’s building process , especially in this Nigeria’s transition process.

According to Prince Akinyemi, “Despite the Nigeria economic and insecurity challenges, we still have various industrious and energetic Youths doing wonderfully in their private capacities as industrialist, human capital developer, politics and other developmental activities; we must encourage these Youth personalities to motivate them in these processes; one of the best ways is what YCYW, Oyo State Council did today, and I must confess, this is challenging and commendable”

“Once again, on behalf of the entire Ibarapas, I appreciate YCYW for honouring these distinguish citizens of Ibarapa, they are individuals that we are always proud of; they are our pride and we are wishing them the spirit and strength to do more in their various capacities” Prince Akinyemi concluded.
